Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the StepToGoal mobile application or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Goalin LLP (TOO "Goalin", Товарищество с ограниченной ответственностью "Goalin"), BIN 260240021438, registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Description of Service

StepToGoal is a goal planning and achievement platform that provides:

• Goal creation, tracking, and management at multiple levels (global, monthly, weekly)
• AI-powered coaching, plan generation, and personalized advice
• Daily task management with habit tracking and streak counting
• Calendar-based scheduling and reminders
• Voice input for goal creation and AI interaction
• Wish map (vision board) with AI-generated images
• Progress analytics and insights

The Service is available on iOS, Android, and via the web at steptogoal.io.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• Authentication is performed via one-time password (OTP) sent to your email, or through Google/Apple OAuth
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts may result in account termination
• You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

The Service offers a free tier with limited features:

• Up to 3 active goals
• 5 AI coach messages per day
• 3 wish map items
• 5 daily tasks
• 3 voice transcriptions per day
• 1 AI image generation
• Basic planning features

4.2 Pro Subscription

• Pro subscription unlocks all features: unlimited goals, unlimited AI messages, unlimited wish map items, voice input, AI image generation, advanced analytics, smart reminders, and streak protection
• Subscription prices: $5.99/month (monthly) or $29.99/year ($2.49/month billed annually)
• Prices may vary by region and are displayed in the app at the time of purchase
• Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis, as selected by you

4.3 Free Trial

• New users may receive a 7-day free trial of the Pro plan
• The trial provides full access to all Pro features
• If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the displayed price
• Each user is eligible for one free trial only

4.4 Billing and Renewal

• Payments are processed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
• Subscriptions managed by RevenueCat for cross-platform synchronization
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• To cancel, manage your subscription through your device's app store settings

4.5 Refunds

Refund policies are governed by Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, contact the respective app store.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, threatening, or discriminatory content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our systems
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Attempt to circumvent any feature limitations, subscription restrictions, or security measures
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service

6. AI-Generated Content

• The Service uses artificial intelligence (powered by OpenAI) to generate plans, suggestions, advice, and images
• AI-generated content is provided for informational and motivational purposes only and should not be considered professional advice (medical, financial, legal, or otherwise)
• AI outputs may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation
• You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions based on AI-generated content
• We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from using AI features

7. Intellectual Property

• The StepToGoal application, its design, code, features, content, and branding are owned by Goalin LLP and protected by intellectual property laws
• You retain ownership of the content you create (goals, tasks, notes, uploaded images)
• By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service
• AI-generated images created through the Service may be used by you for personal purposes

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Service Availability

• We strive to keep the Service available 24/7, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
• The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice

10. Limitation of Liability

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or that any results will be achieved
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

11. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• Active subscriptions are not automatically refunded upon account termination — cancel your subscription through the app store before deleting your account
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will continue to apply

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
